Not your traditional wedding ring, but straight strips instead, or even whole arcs form the circles, and a tapered meeting point, rather than extra arc pieces. We have made a strip cutter (6915) that will allow mixing and matching strips for this, or you can hand cut the narrower strips.
This design is utilising a technique that require very accurate piecing as the outside corners are attached to the outside of the arc with a scant seam, then a full ¼" seam ensures the seam in enclosed, but with half the seam bulk than would be otherwise.
All parts on one die, needs a cutter with at least a 10" opening.
