This 8" finished Square cuts at 8 1/2" square, and has allowance for a 1/4 inch seam.
We include the cutting mat! (2101) 10" x 10"

In some cutters, such as Sizzix, an excellent shim can be achieved by using two of our mats underneath the die and one on top as it goes through the rollers, and then can be used to replace older mats as they wear.
Remember, you get one mat with each die!
